Frequently Asked Questions

What are your hours of operation?

Our emergency department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our specialty services are available by appointment only, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Is there a charge for parking?

No. Parking in our on-site lot is free. During weekdays, space in our parking lot is limited, and it may be necessary for you to park nearby and walk. If your pet is in critical condition and there is no parking available, temporarily pull up near the front door and bring your pet into the clinic. You may park your vehicle once your pet is safely being treated.

How do I know if my pet needs emergency care?

If your pet is in critical condition, please come directly to the clinic as soon as possible. If you think your pet has ingested a potentially poisonous substance, please bring the LABEL, CONTAINER, and/or SUBSTANCE with you to the clinic, if possible. We also recommend you contact the Pet Poison Helpline at (800) 213-6680.

Are face masks required inside the building?

No. In accordance with the CDC’s current advisement, we do not require mandatory mask usage at this time.  However, we respect everyone’s personal choice on the matter and if you are sick or prefer to wear a mask – please do so according to your own judgement at this time.

Will there be a long wait before my pet is seen?

Due to our nature as an emergency hospital, wait times are difficult to predict. We will not provide an estimated wait time. Your pet will be prioritized based on the actual medical urgency of their symptoms as determined by our clinical staff. For example, if you are waiting for your pet with a skin rash to be seen, other pets that are in critical condition will be seen first, even if they arrive after you.
